Sunrise and sunset at Angkor Wat for any day, and an honest reading of the week's sky

01 / Overview

Overview

Sunrise at Angkor Wat is the most planned hour of a trip to Cambodia, and it is planned from blog posts. Arun works out first light, sunrise, the golden hour and sunset for any date on the visitor's device, shows where on the horizon the sun comes up and how it climbs, and reads a weather forecast into a plain call for each of the next eight mornings: horizon likely open, partly blocked or blocked. The rule behind each call is stated on the page, ticket facts are left to the official seller, and every month has its own page of times.

03 / Where it stands

Where it stands

Live at angkor-sunrise.vercel.app since 1 October 2026 as a static site with no account and no server of its own. The sky is a weather model's forecast, not a promise of a clear sunrise, and the page is not run by the park's authority. It launched this month, so no usage is claimed.
